How ContractorGraph measures public contractor activity
ContractorGraph resolves public permit records to contractor entities, computes comparable time-window activity, and links the resulting metrics back to source evidence.
What the metrics mean
30/90/365-day permits are observed records with issue dates inside those trailing windows. 90-day change compares the latest 90 days with the immediately preceding 90 days. Territory rank comes from ContractorGraph's current intelligence scoring and is not a financial ranking.
What they do not mean
Permit activity does not establish supplier spend, purchasing intent, revenue, profitability, equipment brand, or a commercial relationship with any distributor.
Publishing threshold
Phase-one public contractor profiles require an active Austin contractor identity, meaningful recent or annual activity, and at least three source-linked permit records. ContractorGraph intentionally publishes a small evidence-rich set before expanding coverage.
